At Sculpt, we combine artistry and medical expertise to ensure your results are beautiful, natural, and long-lasting. Following these pre- and post-care guidelines will help maximize your results and minimize any side effects.

Pre-Care Guidelines
To prepare your skin and body for optimal treatment:
•    Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, Vitamin E) for at least 5–7 days prior, unless prescribed by your doctor — this reduces bruising and swelling.
•    Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and cannabis for 24 hours prior — these can dehydrate the skin, increase swelling, and affect how fillers settle.
•    Stay well-hydrated to improve skin elasticity and tissue readiness.
•    Cold sore prevention: If prone to outbreaks, take antiviral medication (such as Valtrex) 1–2 days before your appointment.
•    Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face to ensure precision and hygiene.
•    Notify your provider of any medical conditions, allergies, or previous cosmetic procedures.

Post-Care Guidelines
For smooth recovery and optimal results:
•    Do not touch, rub, or massage the treated area for 72 hours.
•    Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur for 3–7 days; this is normal and expected.
•    Sleep with your head elevated the first night to reduce swelling.
•    Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and cannabis for 7 days — these can worsen swelling and interfere with healing.
•    Avoid intense workouts and prolonged sun or heat exposure for 7 days.
•    Do not apply makeup to the treated areas for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation or infection.
•    Hydrate well to support filler integration.
•    Avoid facial massages, dental work, or other cosmetic treatments for 4 weeks to prevent shifting filler.
•    Avoid taking new medications or supplements that could thin the blood for 1–2 weeks post-treatment without consulting your provider.

Additional Clinical Recommendations
•    Be aware of rare but possible adverse reactions such as infection, asymmetry, or nodules — these are uncommon and will be addressed promptly.
•    Report any unusual pain, severe swelling, or signs of infection immediately.
•    If you have any autoimmune conditions or are on immunosuppressive therapy, inform your provider beforehand.

•    Stay well-hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment to support comfort and overall results.
•    Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face to ensure precise treatment and reduce the risk of irritation.
•    Notify your provider of any medical conditions, medications, or prior cosmetic procedures that may affect treatment.

Post-Care Guidelines
To protect your results and ensure smooth recovery:
•    Stay upright for at least 6 hours after your procedure.
•    Do NOT rub, massage, or apply pressure to the treated areas for 72 hours to prevent migration of product.

•    Avoid makeup on treated areas for 12–24 hours to reduce irritation.
•    Do not schedule facials, facial treatments, or other aesthetic procedures (e.g., laser, microneedling) in the same area for at least 4 weeks.

Medical Weight Loss

Our Medical Weight Loss Program is a medically supervised treatment designed to help you achieve sustainable, healthy weight loss. Using prescription medications such as Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, this program works by improving metabolism, reducing appetite, and promoting steady fat loss — all under the guidance of licensed medical professionals.

Pre-Care
•    Stay hydrated by drinking at least 60–80 oz of water daily leading up to your appointment — this helps your body adjust and supports digestion.
•    Eat a balanced meal before your injection or consultation — do not come on an empty stomach.
•    Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to your visit.
•    Inform your provider of any current medications, supplements, or health conditions before starting the program.
•    If this is your first session, bring a list of your current prescriptions and any recent lab results (if available).
•    Avoid taking other GLP-1 medications (e.g., Semaglutide, Tirzepatide) on the same day unless instructed otherwise.
•    Come in well-rested — fatigue can affect your metabolism and treatment response.

After-Care
•    Hydration is key. Drink at least 80 oz of water daily to help your body process the medication, support metabolism, and prevent constipation, which can occur with this treatment.
•    Eat small, balanced meals high in protein and fiber to minimize nausea and maintain steady energy.
•    If you experience mild side effects (nausea, fatigue, constipation), eat bland foods such as crackers, rice, or bananas, and avoid greasy or heavy meals.
•    Avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks for 24–48 hours post-injection.
•    Refrain from intense exercise for 24 hours if the injection site feels tender.
•    Do not skip meals - maintain consistent nutrition and hydration to stabilize blood sugar and maximize results.
•    Limit high-fat and sugary foods, which may worsen nausea or slow progress.
•    Track your weight, hydration, and appetite between visits and share updates with your provider.
•    Follow up as scheduled - consistency and communication ensure the best outcomes.

Pro Tip: The most important thing you can do on this treatment is drink plenty of water daily - it helps your body burn fat efficiently, reduces bloating, and prevents common side effects like constipation or fatigue.

•    Refrain from smoking for at least 24 hours before your appointment to promote better circulation and healing.
•    Stay hydrated and eat a balanced meal rich in protein and complex carbohydrates at least 1 hour before treatment.

•    Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, lotion, or self-tanner on the treatment area.

After-Care
•    Mild swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising in the treated area is normal and may last 3–7 days.
